Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using the skills.md platform you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of service

skills.md is an API-based platform that lets AI agents discover, receive, and execute skills through CLI and MCP interfaces. The platform hosts skill definitions, runs skill workloads, and returns results to the calling agent.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate registration information and promptly update it if it changes. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform to violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the platform.
• Interfere with the platform's infrastructure or other users' access.
• Use automated means to scrape, crawl, or overload the API beyond your plan limits.
• Distribute malware, spam, or harmful content through skill inputs or outputs.
• Resell API access without written permission.

5. Intellectual property

The platform, its code, design, and documentation are our intellectual property. Public skills are provided under their respective open-source licenses. You retain ownership of your data, inputs, and outputs. By using the service you grant us a limited license to process your data solely to deliver the service.

6. Payment

• Free tier — access to public skill discovery and limited API calls at no charge.
• Pro plan — $10 per month, billed monthly. Includes unlimited API calls and private skill workspaces.
• Premium skills — certain skills (e.g. logo design) carry a per-use fee charged when the agent executes them, regardless of plan.
• Enterprise — custom pricing, invoiced separately under a signed agreement.

All fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with 30 days' notice.

7. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable notice. The platform is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, with notice where practical. On termination, your right to use the platform ends. Sections on intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and Romania. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Bucharest, Romania.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes take effect 30 days after we notify you by email or in-product notice. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
